Waucoma Historical Society Museum
The Museum was built in the early 1990's to house donations of antiques and items of interest to Waucoma and surrounding communities. Some of the unusual items are: a bench from the old Waucoma train depot, the bell from the Waucoma school, an old printing press, a milk separator from the late 1800's to early 1900's, an early 1900's corn grader, an antique coffin, and an old barber chair. The Museum is also used to display antique dishes and furniture, copies of old school newspapers and copies of the Jericho Echo which was a well known Waucoma newspaper.
Building materials from Waucoma St. Mary's School, restored light fixtures from old Waucoma buildings and donated items make the Museum an interesting representation of Waucoma's history.
The Museum is open for tours the first Sunday of June, July, August, September and October from 2:00 to 4:00. This is subject to change and interested individuals should contact one of the people listed below to confirm if the buildings are open for viewing.
